Hannah’s Loch Wedding

Hannahs wedding really stood out to me for one simple reason, the genuine love and care that every single one of these girls had for each other.

I do a lot of weddings and people are close but there is usually one or maybe two people who have come into the friendship group later and aren’t as close. But these girls, they really were each others true hype women!! They were all so genuine and kind all morning and I couldn’t get over the beautiful energy that was in the room with us. There were compliments flying all around and it felt so wholesome!!

I first met Hannah when she came to my studio in Bridge of Allan for her trial on the 23rd of February 2024. She greeted me with a hug and there was an instant warmth around her presence. We had a great trial appointment and Hannah loved her hair.

Fast forward to the wedding day at Venachar Lochside. I was working this wedding with my friend Helen. It’s always such a lovely buzz when we get to work together. We know each other well so it makes working together a real pleasure!

We arrived at 7:15am to a lovely cottage on Leny Estate just outside of Callander. We both love sending our brides a schedule ahead of time to keep the morning running super smooth!

Hannah and the girls welcomed us in, made us coffees and we got started!

Hannah wanted to make a slight change to her hair. Instead of the low bun, we decided a mid bun would suit Hannahs look better. Nothing is ever set in stone at the trial!! This is your reminder that you can change your mind!!

After Hannah had both her hair and makeup done, it was time to get dressed. This is always my favourite part of the wedding morning because it’s basically everything all coming together!! I love it so much! I get just as excited as you to see it all. The dress, the hair, the makeup, the shoes, the flowers 🫶🏼

Anyway, Hannah was a vision!! An angel of a bride.

Hannah was having a church ceremony in Callander firstly before heading to Venachar Lochside for the reception.

And a small detail I loved. On the lead up to the wedding, Hannah had been travelling to attend the church in Callander to get to know the people there. This tells you a lot about my beautiful bride. She had such a pure heart and really thought about others.

Helen and myself enjoyed our morning so much with Hannah, that we invited her to model for us again in December 2024 for a content day! At this point, Hannah was expecting her first baby and it was a lovely reunion!!
